Kindergarten Potluck Dinner

We had a wonderful turnout for our Kindergarten Potluck dinner!  It was nice to see so many families
sitting down for a yummy meal and getting a chance to visit with each other.  The stone soup was a huge hit!  Mr. White did end up with the largest stone in his bowl of soup.  A big thank you to everyone for bringing food and for coming to the Potluck dinner.  It was great to see everyone.

Stone Soup

Kindergarten students were very busy cutting vegetables and preparing stone soup Thursday morning.  They did a great job making stone soup to serve at the Kindergarten Potluck that evening.
Just like in Pete Seeger's book and song "Stone soup is what you need when you have some friends to feed.  Step right up with what you got and put it in the big soup pot."

Leaf People in Richmond, an online class book

Check out the new book we just made with an app called My Story.  First we read Lois Ehlert's book, Leaf Man.  Then we created our own leaf people and designed things they could fly over in Richmond.  We took photos of our work, added our voices and the writing.
We love our online book and hope you do as well!
