Our first day of Snow Motion was amazing! Kindergarteners did a great job skiing and snowboarding. A big thank you to Mr. G for making this possible. We were fortunate to have many volunteers to support our kindergarten students. Thank you everyone for making our first time at Cochrans such fun.
Kindergarten students explored shapes in math on Wednesday. As students rotated through stations, they built shapes out of a variety of materials. It was great to see the individual designs and the collaborative work. Great job, kindergarten mathematicians!
Our ice suncatchers finally froze! We brought them out to the Neighborhood Forest and placed them in various spots. We hope that as other classes visit the Neighborhood Forest, they will discover the treasures we left in the woods.
The weather might have been cloudy and damp, but it didn't dampen kindergarteners' spirits as they played in the outdoor forest. They worked together to move branches and rebuild structures. We also spent time creating ice suncatchers. Be on the lookout for pictures of our ice suncatchers.
Our kindergarten class and our third-grade buddies in Mr. E's class met again this afternoon for hot cocoa and books. We all had fun reading to each other and enjoying our hot cocoa. What a relaxing and joyful way to end our week!
