Thank you families for all of the pumpkins you donated to our class. We have been measuring the height and the circumference of our pumpkins. We even counted the lines on our pumpkins and the number of seeds inside. It was exciting to discover that pumpkins float, even large ones. Students are enjoying all of our pumpkin activities.

Science Fun
A big thank you to Ms. Carly and Ms. Lauren, our UVM interns, for the engaging science lessons they taught today. We learned the difference between wild and domestic animals (pets). We also learned about animal homes.

Leaf People and Animal Creations
We spent quite a bit of time outside today. We read the book Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. In the book, Leaf Man travels over orchards, mountains, rivers, animals, etc. He goes wherever the wind blows. We hope you enjoy our Leaf Creations. It might be fun to watch the video with your child and see if they can identify their creation.

Dance Party
Our entire school earned a dance party today for following the school rules of respecting ourselves, respecting others, and respecting the environment. Kindergarten students danced on the front patio as they enjoyed the bubbles and music. We love celebrating!
