We had our last get-together this morning with our third-grade buddies. We met in the neighborhood forest for a morning meeting. Kinder buddies and third-grade buddies did a greeting and a share. Then they had a little time to play together in the woods. We will miss our buddies and wish them luck in fourth grade. Thank you for a fun year. Enjoy your summer vacation!
Wednesday's weather was perfect for our walking field trip to the Volunteers Green. A big thank you to the Green Mountain Club and Wildgood Ice Cream. We played a fun game about what is needed when we go on a hike up a mountain. In addition, kindergartners went on a river hike, noticing all the wonderful things in nature. Then we ended our hike with lunch, ice cream from Wildgood, and time on the playground. Thank you to all of our volunteers for walking with us and helping us at the park. It was great spending time together, learning, playing, and exploring.
Field day has been amazing! We loved the slip and slide, obstacle course, disco party, and ice cream. We even had our recess when we finished. It was a great morning. Soon we will be heading outside for our barbeque lunch. What fun!
