Lisa Bresler, art educator, and art specialist for the Vermont Agency of Education, came in on Friday to paint with us. She designed an art project to integrate with our 2-D geometry math unit. Students painted bright colored shapes and then connected them with other colors. They outlined the shapes with black paint to make them "pop" out. We will combine these mural parts to create a large class shape mural.

Students had a great dress-up day! Outfits included fancy clothes, costumes, and pajamas. Kindergarteners enjoyed showing each other their outfits. What fun to dress any way we want.
Today, we met our reading buddies in Mr. E's 3rd-grade class. We spent time getting to know our buddies and then shared books. We had an amazing time reading together! We can't wait to read with our buddies again next Friday.
