Field Day Fun

What a wonderful field day!  Kindergarten students had a fun morning at the disco dance party, bouncy obstacle course, dunk tank, and water slide.  Their smiles and laughter said it all.

Officer Duke and Friends

Thank you, Sergeant Cohen, Erinn Perry (my daughter), and Officer Duke.  We appreciate you coming to RES to read books about Duke.  We enjoyed the books very much.  We are sorry that Officer Duke wasn't feeling well.  He is a great dog, and we loved petting him.  We hope he feels better soon.  Thank you, Ms. Perry, for giving us copies of the books to keep in our reading area.

Beach Day, Dance Party, and Financial Literacy

 What an exciting and busy day today!  Students came to school in their beach attire and with beach towels.  They enjoyed eating snacks, reading, and writing while sitting on their beach towels.  We also had volunteers from the Community Bank, N.A., in to teach us about money and making spending decisions.   We had fun looking at and working with real coins and figuring out what coins we would need to buy certain toys.  In the afternoon, we went outside to the patio for our Dance Party.  All three kindergarten classes enjoyed dancing together and trying to catch the bubbles from the bubble machine.
