Reading Celebration

This morning we had a reading celebration.  We invited our fourth grade buddies to our classroom.  We partnered up and each kindergarten student read four books to their buddy.  Fourth graders were amazed at how we pointed to words as we read and used picture clues to help us figure out words. Our buddies even brought a book to read to us.  It was a great way to celebrate all of our hard work in reading.
