Flynn Companion Workshop

On Wednesday we had a Flynn teacher come in to help us prepare for our trip to the Flynn on May 1 to see Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters.  She helped us understand the performance and what we would see.  We found out that there would be African drums and masks.  We were thrilled to try on a mask, hear a
drum and learn how to show emotions with our voices and bodies.   The games and activities helped us understand the show and the characters' feelings.  Our class is so excited to go to the Flynn when we get back from vacation.
