Kindergarten students had a day full of science experiments. Our experiments helped us understand that an object is unable to move unless something is either pushing or pulling it.
We discovered some ways an object can be forced to move. Students also found out that the lightest objects moved the farthest. Light objects need less force to move them. The heavier objects move shorter distances because they need more force to move them.
We moved objects with puffs of air and our hands. Bottle rocket experimentation was a definite favorite.
