Dear families,
As you know, our class is participating in the Blanket of Hope project. We read books about empathy and homelessness. Students brainstormed how it would feel to be homeless. They wrote letters to people experiencing homelessness and attached them to their blankets. We have contacted several shelters in the area and are waiting to hear back. Students demonstrated kindness, caring, and empathy during our discussions and our work on the project. I am so proud of each one of them. Please take a moment to look at our video.
