Buddy Time

We had such a lovely end to our day and week.  We spent time reading and having hot cocoa with our third-grade buddies.  We even had a visit from Nollie, a RES therapy dog.  Have a wonderful vacation!

Art Project Part 2

Look at these kindergarten artists!  Their creativity shows through in their buildings for our version of It's a Small World.  We haven't added the finishing touches, but we wanted to share what we have completed.  Again, a big thank you to Lisa Bresler for designing this project and helping our young artists.  They loved this project.

Art Project

On Friday, we had a special guest art teacher, Lisa Bresler.  Lisa is the parent of one of our students.  She designed an art project to connect to our math unit on shapes.  Lisa taught us about Mary Blair, an artist who brought vibrant colors to Walt Disney productions.  Mary Blair designed It's a Small World at Disney.  Kindergarten students painted a variety of colorful community papers.   These papers will be used on Monday to design our own It's a Small World.  Check out our enthusiastic and messy artists at work.  They had a great time!  Thank you, Lisa, for this creative and fun activity.

Another Amazing Day on the Slopes

It was a beautiful day for skiing and snowboarding at Cochran's.  Thank you, volunteers, for all of your help.  Kindergarteners had a great time!  They all left feeling proud of their skills and effort.
