On Friday, we had a special guest art teacher, Lisa Bresler. Lisa is the parent of one of our students. She designed an art project to connect to our math unit on shapes. Lisa taught us about Mary Blair, an artist who brought vibrant colors to Walt Disney productions. Mary Blair designed It's a Small World at Disney. Kindergarten students painted a variety of colorful community papers. These papers will be used on Monday to design our own It's a Small World. Check out our enthusiastic and messy artists at work.
