Pictures and Notes from Ms. Groleau

Dear Families,

Is it a duck or a rabbit? Before the April break, we started our opinion writing with the book “Duck! Rabbit” After the story, students got to form their own opinions as to whether the head was a duck head or a rabbit head. The class enjoyed writing their opinions down and illustrating the body to show which they thought fit better. It seems that overall, the consensus was that the head was a rabbit head!

As my time in Mrs. Gilbar’s classroom comes to an end, I have been reflecting on all of the wonderful times I have been able to share with your children. From playing a game of charades with our CVC words, to planning a science unit on Force and Motion (some pictures also included below from our wagon pull experiment in March), I have been incredibly grateful to see your children grow and learn. They have taught me to grow and develop as a teacher in ways I wouldn’t have imagined previously, and I know that this class will always have a special place in my heart.

Thank you so much,

Ms. Groleau
