Hello Kindergarten Families,
As you all know due to COVID-19, kindergarteners are required to wear masks while at school unless they are actively eating or drinking. We need your help in ensuring that we keep all students, staff, and community members safe. Here are some reminders and updates regarding masks.
Some students are coming to school wearing the same mask each day. Please make sure masks are being washed daily. Please send at least 3 clean masks every day with your student. Students are asked to change their mask when it is dirty, wet, or sneezed in.
If your child sucks on their mask, please send MANY clean masks with your child. Please know that if your child constantly sucks on their mask, they will be asked constantly to change their mask. If you can support your child with finding a different alternative, it would be helpful and safer for all.
Please check the fit of your child’s mask. If it is loose and falls below their nose, it is not a good fit. We are trying to make sure that each child has a properly fitted mask to ensure the safety of all.
If your child comes home with a mask that was given to them by an adult, please add this to your student’s mask supply. Please DO NOT RETURN THESE MASKS!
