We have been busy investigating pumpkins this week. On Wednesday, kindergarten students had a great time measuring the height of their pumpkins, predicting and measuring the circumference, and making observations about their pumpkins. Students predicted and tested whether their pumpkin would sink or float. They were quite surprised to find out that pumpkins float. Today, students counted pumpkin seeds. Another surprise, each of our pumpkins had more than 100 seeds. A big thank you to the Rohlins for donating pumpkins to our class.
