Snow Motion

Amazing day on the slopes today!  Our kindergarten class had a wonderful time skiing and snowboarding at Cochran's Ski Area.  The weather was great and we enjoyed the sunshine and comfortable temperature.
A big thank you to Mr. Godfrey, our P.E. teacher, and to the parents who volunteered to help us today.
We hope you like the photos from our first day on the slopes.

Kindergarten Assembly

Today Kindergarten students led the school in an assembly about Martin Luther King Jr.
They shared a short video about Dr. King and sang the song "Freedom, Freedom, Let It Ring.
When they finished singing they invited the entire school to join them in singing the song one more time. Excellent job kindergarten students.

Pajama Day

What a fun Friday!  We were all so comfy in our pajamas.  Pajama Day was a great way to celebrate positive and expected behavior.

Today several K- 2 teachers in our district had reading professional development with Beth Moore, reading expert and consultant for our district.  Beth Moore came into our classroom to teach a reading lesson and support students in working with partners.  Kindergarten students were great listeners and tried out the ideas that Mrs. Moore taught them.
