Concert Begins at 6:00 pm

(Please note: students should gather for the concert by 5:50)

Where

Art Show: Inside Richmond Elementary School

Concert: Outside on the Camel’s Hump Middle School Field

What

The art show will feature a variety of work by all students. This will include

an amazing array of weaving, self-portraits, batik, books, and much more.

The outdoor concert , “Bon Voyage”, will celebrate the imagination of

Robert Louis Stevenson, and the adventures of ocean travel

around the globe, as we sing, dance, and play for you.

Fun with our Fourth Grade Buddies

We read poetry books and played games with our fourth grade buddies this morning.
It was great to get together.  We enjoyed spending time with them.  Ms. Senning, our fourth grade buddy teacher, is out for the rest of the year (and next year).  She is having a baby and we are very excited for her.  Congratulations Ms. Senning!

Animal Research

Kindergartners have been researching animals in Vermont.  Students worked in small groups to research their animals.  They have watched short videos and read books to discover information about their animals.  Students took notes about the animal's home, food, and how the animal changes the environment around them.  Kindergarten scientists were engaged in their research and discovered interesting facts to share.  Please watch our video to see how each student presented their research using technology and art.  They did a great job on this project!

KIndergarten Scientists

                                   
Kindergarten students are incredible scientists.  This week we spent a few hours outside looking for signs or evidence that animals were making homes or changes to the environment near our schoolyard.  We found fur, feathers, scat, tracks, squirrel nests in trees, chewed acorns and other proof that animals were in our environment.  Check out the link to our video.
