Skull Sleuthing

Today we learned about different types of teeth and how what animals eat connects to the type of teeth they have.  We ate several different types of food to figure out which teeth we used to chew our food. Next we closely examined different animal skulls and teeth. We noticed a great deal about the size and feel of the teeth and skulls.  Then students used this information to begin to write and draw about what they had learned.  A big thank you to Denise Noble, parent volunteer and Four Winds volunteer, for presenting such a great science lesson.
