We met with our Fourth Grade buddies in Ms. Senning's class Wednesday afternoon to work on a Thanksgiving Project. Kinderbuddies and Fourth grade buddies created turkey glyphs. A glyph is a type of data interpretation. Students had certain rules to follow as they constructed their turkeys. For example, if the student was a girl her turkey had a yellow beak. If the student was a boy the turkey had an orange beak. The number of feathers depended on the age of the student. There were a number of other rules that students followed for their turkeys. The turkey that each student created actually represented information about them and could be interpreted by others. It was a lot of fun
working together on this project. Happy Thanksgiving!
